First and foremost a huge congrats to the Ford Motor Company for achieving their 1,000th NASCAR victory. Greg Biffle did not have the fastest car but as we all know, the fast car doesn’t always win the race. While Ford and Jack Roush had a day to write home about, the same cant be said for Hendrick Motorsports. I believe the 48 had the fastest car but a blown tire took him out. My favorite, Kasey Kahne was running well all day until he cut a right front tire too. The 24 was caught up in a wreck early on and the 88 blew up! At one point all the Hendrick cars were running top 5. There is a little bit of tension between the 99 and 16 teams. Both run for Jack Roush and many times teammates will help each other out on the track. Edwards had some trash on the front of his grille and wanted the Biff to let him catch up so they could run bumper to bumper which cleans any debris off. The biff wasn’t having anything to do with that saying “the 48 is coming!” Team owner Jack Roush defended the 16 team’s decision to not help the 99. Do you think Biffle should have held back to help his teammate?? Click here to head to victory lane with the 16 of Greg Biffle!
